The UCT Radar Masters recently organised a radar course that attracted fifty participants. Such a large number pursuing this highly specialised and niche field is unprecedented in the country and clearly demonstrated a great interest and enthusiasm for radar.

The course took place at the CSIR in Pretoria with the assistance of Andre Le Roux and the lecturer was Prof. Hugh Griffiths from University College London. Prof. Griffiths taught updated and revised material from the classic radar textbook, Stimson's Introduction to Airborne Radar, which he published in its 3rd Edition in 2014.
