School children oftne ask the question, "I want to build a robot, what shoud I do". With the robotic toys that havebeen brought out recently, things have been simplified, but there is a need for an understanding that there is a need to study the mechatronics and robotics discipline and courses to be able to build robots from scratch. An interactive workshop will happen to explain to the students the mechanical and the electronic aspects related to a basic robotic system, with an introduction to coding.
