Scheduled to take place in Cape Town the YP STEP event aims to promote collaboration between industry, academics and young professionals in the IEEE. The aim is to promote an environment which will facilitate discussion around the transition into industry for Young Professionals and students from the University of Cape Town, Stellenbosch and Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
A large portion of the event will be dedicated to a panel discussion with working professionals sharing their experiences of the transition from the world of school to the world of work. Further networking with key industry players to offer advice and support to students from the surrounding Universities
The main objective of the event is to promote IEEE within the Western Cape and boost visibility of the YP Affinity Group within the University.
